Reni Gongora, a professional dancer, RNA Dance Company owner, professional DJ, choreographer, dance coach, and Brand Ambassador & Sales Manager of MyZiji Dance shoes, has dedicated over 7 years to teaching bachata and salsa dance full-time, totaling over 40+ hours per week.

Originally starting as a hobby in Orlando, Florida, 15 years ago, dance quickly evolved into Reni’s true passion. Through relentless dedication and strengthening, Reni realized the potential to not only improve personally but also inspire and empower others.

Throughout Reni’s journey, over 40+ performance/choreography teams have been coached, including the creation of New Mexico’s first national and international bachata team, and the opening of Colorado’s first Bachata studio, focusing primarily on bachata.

Reni has trained over 10,000 social dance and performance students nationwide, choreographed 8 weddings, and DJed 4 of those weddings.

Reni’s talents have been showcased at over 100+ national events, including congresses, festivals, and weekender events.

His teaching style is known to be unique in a way that breaks from conventional pattern based teaching to use a progressive teaching pedagogy that places the students learning first.

An advocate for a well-rounded appreciation and study of the arts, Reni has delved into studying bachata and salsa dance, playing instruments such as the guitar, bass, and bongos, and honing drawing skills.

As DJ Reni G, Reni has performed in Phoenix, Denver, Dallas, Houston, Albuquerque, Miami, and more to come.

Beyond dance, Reni is deeply passionate about hot yoga, physical fitness, and spiritual well-being, believing in the symbiotic relationship between the arts, music, and a healthy creative environment.
